Before & I use Prime--enough for the whole tank.

Prime is added after the tank is full, all filters are then restarted after the prime has been added.

i wish i had a python, things would be so much easier. but i don't use dechlor because i have city water not tap.

city water would contain chlorine and possibly chloramine

so your saying that i should add dechlor? because i used to use dechlor before i realized that we have city water, then i stoped and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

how does that work,by the time you add the bad water the stuff is diluted.lol
Prime is added after the tank is full,
same as my post above but the bad water is already mixed with the good before you add it.

i add as it fills.
if i drained half the tank i know at the end i need to use the right amount.
so i add as needed as it fills.

and city water has chlorine in it im pretty sure.
