I was thinking of breeding black ghost knife fishes.
but i dont have any information on how to breed them.

i currently have 4 BGk which are about 10 inches.
i was thinking of breeding them.
can anyone give me information on breeding these fishes.
 
There is a guy here... who has 4 x 14" BKGs in a 3' tank... No probs at all... He's had them for more than 3 years together...
 
yeah a bgk isn't that territorial. i don't know where you got that. probably the most peaceful of the knife fish. I have never heard anything about breeding tho good luck!
 
well mine havent had any problem till now.
will be moving them to a 120g tank in a few months.

its a nightmare site to get around,but in the 'general black ghost knifefish' thread there is a breeding article,how true i dont know but its worth a read :)

Glad to see your BGK's are getting a long fine,i had 3 but had to move 2 out because of aggression.

the info apppears to be quite useful.
will try them on my BGK.
 
i remember on aqualandpetsplus.com, there was a picture of a guy holding a baby bgk. It was 1/3" at most. he never said how he did it
