Ok I post enough already about my 2 red devils

anyways its looking like I have 2 females. Cause the "male" I put in the 29g just laid eggs!. Im going to repost pictures of them tell me what you think. That could explain why they dont get along? Guy at the fish store told me this fish was a male.

Those are not fish eggs, looks like a snail egg cluster to me. No way that came out of your fish. Actually the vent tubes on both of those fish look male. Has either ever laid eggs on a flat surface like a rock or slate? Ken

Hmm, nope they could be snail eggs. I didn't see them come out of the fish, and I have never seen fish eggs. I just assumed that they were fish eggs. Neither of them have laid eggs on a flat surface to my knowledge. There are snails in the tank.

Well if they are both males I guess that would explain why they were trying to kill each other, and wouldn't pair.
