I've used Hikari Gold, Omega One & NLS, and was thinking about trying an HBH & OSI product. I'm not certain if I believe the hype on NLS, it tends to be pretty messy. Omega One is very clean, and I do believe I get very good growth with these. I'm considering trying massivore, Bio-gold, HBH & OSI cichlid pellets. For anyone that has used/uses or has tried any of these products, could I get your opinion or preference...

Do you have BIG fish or are they still kind of small? I have a green terror at about 5" and I have to break up the massivore that I use. Those pellets are pretty big! He seems to love them though :)

hikari gold for me the stuff in the red bag tried the green stuff but only the small pellets not the big ones i've tried the big red ones and they seem to work fine fish like them and i'm getting good colors out of my jaguar cichlid and pellets are pretty much all she eats

I mix Hikari Cichlid Gold & Hikari Bio Gold, my fish love them and it brings out there colour alot. Im not to sure about HBH though, i remember they were recalling a few of there products not too long ago due to problems with the content. Just stick to Hikari.

Highly recommend all Hikari products, and New Life Spectrum is A1 if you can afford it (not sure if that's available outside of Australia though?).

I use 5 different types of Hikari because it's well priced.

yeah New Life Spectrum is tops for me all my fish eat it it is kinda high priced but all of them eat it so it saves in the long run and gives them great color

I use NLS, HBH soft and moist (both spirulina and krill), Hikari (Gold, Excel, Floating Sticks, Massivore), Dainich (Color FX, Ultima, Primary Krill), Omega One cichlid pellets. All my fish get some combination of these but none get all of them. I give them what they seem to like the best. Some like floaters, some like sinking. Some like veggie or staple pellets, some like more meaty foods. Some don't care. I also feed fresh shrimp, frozen, live (earthworms and mealworms), and freeze-dried foods.

I don't have a preference among pellets but the fish do. I stick to foods that have stabilized vitamin C and I don't use those that don't. Choline chloride is important too but Omega doesn't have it in it, but I use it anyway.
