what synodontis is this?

this is the second syno that has come up recently that has me a bit stumped. Its a beautiful cat though. Hope someone here can help you...

he's very odd for a synodontis he hates hiding and likes to school with his 5 upside down buddies

he reminds me a lot of my syno that i bought back in november. I bought him as a S. longirostris, but have recently had some doubts as to the id, so im waiting for him to get bigger, he's only about 3".

Ill be by it on friday, try and get some pics to compare.

Im going with a hybrid on this, but does remind me a lot of S ocelifer.:)

def not notatus. I can see the hybrid angle i was leaning towards that myself.

man little spines got me hurt pretty bad I was moving my drift wood( to see what looked like a dead tiger barb it was fine)

I've seen a ton of these syno's from my lfs to my local petsmart recently. I'd have to say hybrid. Most of them are listed as longirostris but they dont look like long's.

No they look nothing like S longirostris.:)
