Quarantine Tank
My fish generally sleep at night, so it seems useless.

I just let my fish watch TV. It makes them waaay mellow......

Depends on the setup. .some fish are too jumpy in a dark, packed tank and have the tendency to spazz and could injure the fish . In that instance , i might see the logic in keeping a night light. If not, its a waste of watts.

No.. I don't see the point... In the wild there no other lights besides the Moon light..(Which i get in room) so there is noo need for night lights...

In the wild fish also dont have to sleep next to each other, get scared and then slam into the side of your tank. :)

Didnt read the link did you? :nilly:

OH...!

Well in that case...they might need a dim light...

But my Spotteds tend to go to sleep with a room light on... So an external dim light should be fine...

Thats actually a good question of which I dont have an answer. May be a good idea for the fish I want to get for my 300 gal.
