Here's a full tank shot. The tanins seem to have lightened up over the past 24 hours. That or I am just getting used to it.

That's beautiful. What size tank is that?
 
It seems to be lightning up a bit. I love the look. Its very natural looking. Are you testing the water from time to time? I'd be curious to know how this affects the Nitrates if at all.
 
It shouldn't really effect the nitrate levels so much as the pH. Did you notice a drastic drop or just a slight drop in pH, if any?

It is much brighter than I expected also. I would not have care for it if it had been so dark you would barely have seen the fish.
But I am really digging the natural look with all the leaves lying around.
