If the koi are large enough they can eat the dojos. if you have pond lilies and reeds or cattails for the dojos it should not be a problem though, dojos are quick.

if the koi is big enough and the loach is small that loach is lunch sooner or later. ive seen a koi with two frog legs hanging out of its mouth and i dout Mr. ribbits got away
They would do great in a bog as long as the pH is above 6 and below 8. They also do great in rice paddies. Oh I found a picture of one living with small gold fish and koi that were of similar length. The article said it and two others overwintered there under the ice.
