Hello everyone,

This is my little GM (2.5") I picked up recently.
I will be updating with pictures of his progress every two weeks or so. Enjoy and any comments are welcome!


The first day he has arrived(around three weeks ago)

Until the day of the pics taken, He was being fed Amazone 50% and Hikari Bio gold 25% and chingmix sp80 HB & maxima 25%. Now, he's being fed Grand Sumo RED 50% and Original 50%.

-He is in a 10 gallon tank
-temp 82,
-royal pleco as tank mate
-aquaclear filteration
- 35% water change every 5 days.
Nothing special.

Yea I guess it's because of the close up shot that makes him bigger than 2.5". Take a look at the heater next to him and its suction cup :D that's a 50watts small heater:nilly:

did u say 10 gallon? u got to move this sucker to something bigger. if not, its gonna stun his growth. nice fish tho.... good luck
 
bigger tank = faster growth regardless of how often you do waterchanges IMO. But you seem to know what you're doing. I personally wouldn't keep that fish in anything less than a 30gallon, even at that size. If you want quick growth try and do waterchanges as often as you can. When I am growing fish out I do 20% waterchanges every day and big ones on the weekends.
 
wow he's stunning, i am not the keen one on hybrids but hell!! that is one nice fish pic 2 is insane.
