Crayola Play Sand

Only thing I'd be afraid of is the color fading into the tank.
I would try it though.
Like you said get a couple feeders and test it.
 
Man, that stuff looks like it would stain you water that color forever.

I'd say try it in a 10 gallon or something.
 
Man those color sand looks cool.Even my kids say so.Let me know if its safe to.Maybe I can get some for my daughter fish tank.
 
hmm, if it's safe for kids I would hope that it would be thoroughly safe.

On a lighter note: Good job kids, why don't you mix up the different color sands that mommy and daddy paid for and now we are going to have to replace because it is going to look like crap!
 
i'm pretty sure that NO its not safe probably has silica in it and the color might run into the water
 
Lol doesn't look safe, look at that second picture... seems like the water on his hand is purple... probably leeches like crazys
