I saw a fish in the local fish store today and it was something I have never seen before. I ask the owner what it was and he didn't know either. He bought about 4 of them from someone but have no idea what they are.
He labeled them as "Blue Torpedo Dolphin" but after searching I see that is not what they are.

Here's what they look like:
about 9" long
Blue / light blue color
very thin like a pencil all the way down
I didn't get a good look at the head but it was like a eel or a snake. very unique from anything I have ever seen.
Very active in the tank, swimming up the side of the tank in a group.
I forgot to check the price..
I can try and get picture next time and there but for now this is the description.
This pet store is the second best for about 50 miles and they alway have very cool fish. Even the owner has never seen anything like these before either..

If I can get some kind of direction to go in as to finding out what species this fish might be in, I should be able to find it somewhere online.

Gobioides peruanus?

The body of the eel Goby is far to large, these fish have very thin body.

I'm not even sure if they are full grown or babies either..

Think one of the common names is whale cat. Not a community fish. Will swallow whole what it can and burrow into larger fish.

A pencil is about a 1/4" in diameter

From what I can remember, the fish look just like this but blue in color:
Same size, same style head.
