memorial weekend netting/fishing

went netting/fishing today



who says littering doesnt help the environment
found these 2 mayans breeding inside
female is in the tire
male was chasing off other fish on the outside









went to another spot
found this guy
he is the biggest mayan ive ever seen!!
no lie,im guessing around a foot and a half
he wouldnt bite to find out
he was guarding a huge cloud of fry
you can see the babies in the 2 zoomed pix
might go back and try again,how big do mayans get?











caught this lil bass,missed a few,was alot of action today 4 some reason
also found this gar
also found a big sunfish dead missing tail and some of its body
it had the look of a big human bite lol
didnt have cam at that time






since theres been no rain,minnows/water is scarce






i will be getting more minnows and fishing more this weekend so watch for updates

finally got a male for my pond!!!
he was flaring up like crazy in this lil tank with a bunch of females
bet he felt like he was in heaven

good to see they are coming back after last winter

i fish while i wait for my umbrella net to fill

when i dropped the pleco in the aro thought it was dinner time
he realized he couldnt eat it and spit it out
you can see some stuff on his back from it,he will be ok tho

every place has its goods and bads
and here has alot of bads lol

but it is nice to say,hmm,i want this or that,and just go catch it

i wanna live around miami
but i cant stand the place

i just like the beaches and the fishing

im going to pull a neo......
