Well, this is my first post. :woot:
This is my home made 4000 liters chiclid tank.
I live in Southern Norway, and im 28 years.
I also have 16 smaller tanks and a big pond in my garden. (25 000 liters)
Chiclids are my big favourite, but i also had Arrowanas and Red Tail Cats in this tank earlyer. In the pond i have Koi, and gold fish.

First -off, welcome to MFK . Enjoy the site . Congratulations on building that monster tank of yours. Its amazing. Tell us more about your setup, water changes, diet ,temp etc..

The tank is build of wood. 2x4" frame and 22mm plywood. Its coated with 2 comp. Epoxy. But i had a bad leak, and now i have pond liner inside the tank. Glasses are 19 mm.

Ph- 6,5 Temp 26-28 Celcius.

I have three powerheads x 2500 liters an hour.
And a Camoflage pond filter.
I have too mutch partickels in the water now, so its not so clear as i want.

I have two A.Citrinellum pair with fry, and other chiclid pairs with egg or fry. So all the digging makes the water dark. :(
 
I now planning to get two Silwer Arrowanas, i dont think thats a problem since most of the fishes i have now are to big to be eaten. And the tank is 100 cm high, and the Arrowanas find most of its food from the surface. :thumbsup:
