Just ordered a True Festae from my LFS. Good deal??

So one my local pet stores has the worst fish selection known to mankind. He literally has like 10 tanks with guppies and mollies and parrots. BUT, he has like a 9 page list of all the fish he can order. He just doesnt have the room to stock them so customers can special order lots of different fish.

So I just placed an order for a true Festae/Red Terror. His list says 5" size for $35. Only thing is i dont know what the sex of the fish will be, but does $35 seem like a good price for this fish??

Yeah I thought about that, but the list he gets from his supplier says "True Festae - Red Terror", so if its not, I'll just tell him that this is not what I ordered
 
just make sure the owner knows what the difference is then order it...if its not a true festae then it'll be okay.

uh excuse me? if i order a certain fish or item or whatever im ordering from a place you better believe i damn well expect to receive what i ordered. i normally stick up for small business owners but that comment you made was pretty stupid.

why should i keep the fish if its not what i ordered? makes no sense :screwy:
 
Not a great price but Ok.Rapps has 3.5 " FO Festae for 25,but of course then there is shipping.
 
wow i didnt mean it like that i am just saying make sure its the real deal thats all i used to work in a store and the list said true festae red terrors and they were uros so alot of the time suppliers dont know what they have
 
ah ok sorry man! i thought you meant that i should feel bad for ordering and then not keeping the fish if it didnt turn out to be a true festae :cheers:
