he's about 5-6" long living in a cichlid community tank, he's the definate ruler of the tank and picks on all the other fish, for some reason he wont eat feeders, or krill, but he loves all pellots, and earthworms.

if you have cichlid sticks, he will eat them from your hand if you hold them into the water, a very fat little fish, not 100% sure on what his genetic makeup consists of, but he's free to a good home, he's grown about an inch in the two months ive had him, he picks on the salvani's jack dempseys and convicts.

currently in a 125 gallon tank, he could probably be kept in a 40 breeder or larger.

if someone in the charleston area or close by wants him, ill give him away to a good home, but i dont want anyone with a tank less than 40 gallons to ask me for him, he just wont fit and wont be happy in less.

ill be in buchannon and weston on thursday working at the state police detachments putting new computers in, shame i gotta take the new guy with me or id try to catch you and give you a few convicts like you wanted a few months back, ive got one in the baby tank that im definatly keeping, its got ALOT of blue on it for a convict.

anyway its here for anyone in WV

Bump, are there any people on this forum anywhere close to charleston other than duke? he's like 100 miles from here :)

ill consider half way delivery within 50 miles or so. anyone in eastern kentucky or southeastern ohio might work as well.

I'm in Charleston and would be willing to give him a shot in my 210 gallon cichlid tank. Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks again macantley. He seems to be doing fine so far. The other fish have kind of let him know what the pecking order is but there wasn't too much violence. I think he's going to fit in very well.
