new flowerhorns spawn!!!!!

hey all,

im pretty new to this forum... i started checking it out when i became interested in flowerhorns ...well about 2 weeks ago i got a hell of a deal and got my first FH ....needles to say i lasted about a day enjoying it and then i thought ...."hmmm...i want more" so i started the search for a female ...well 2 days ago i got my female from fellow member cepon....for a great deal...once again

well after 2 days them being together in the tank they have spawned!!!!...and they are actually still doing it now

thanks guys ...the male looked better until i introduced her... then the red on his face just faded away... but his pearls started popping more ...
i guess these are his breeding colors

i ended up gettin this female cause i thought she would compliment the males shortcomings well...i.e color, flowerline ...and would produce nice offspring

i'll take more pics when she's done laying eggs... i think she'll probably lay up to double of whats on these pics... hopefully he's fertile...lol

how exactly do u spawn flowerhorns? because i heard they cannot be kept together? i still have to learn a lot :D
 
nain all i did was feed my male alot.... and when i got this female she was already very plumpy so you could tell that she was ready to lay eggs .... the whole keeping them together i'll wait and see how that goes ... like i said my male just took right to her and hasnt bothered her at all ....if anything changes the divider is going back up .... shes way to nice to be left at his mercy

im uploading pics right now on photobucket so you guys and gals can see the progress made
