So I finally got to go fishing at a private lake my buddy has. Unbelievable!!!! My first cast I almost hooked what would have been the larget bass of my life. The first trip I caught a 19" LMB and a 27"Northern. The second trip I caught a 22" LMB (my new personal record) :headbang2:headbang2and my buddy caught a 27" FAT Northern. He's the one with a mustache.

That's great fishing man! Good work!

HEEEEYYYYY, not fair...... I spent my weekend catching nothing but 2" panfish on Lobdel Lake, bringing nothing home but a nasty sunburn, while you were having the time of your life on a private lake catching prized monsters?? That's just WRONG.. :irked:

How many 12 packs would it take to get your buddy to open his heart to more fishing buddies?? What about 50 free cons?? LOL

BTW, Still coming to get more feeders?

these are average fish for MI, nothing special about a 27 inch pike in MI there are nice to catch but for MI a 40 inch northern is standard, for a big one for MI. 19 inch bass is alright 22 inch bass is a big one for MI in length but yours dosnt look to fat

You're right 27" is nothing for a MI northern but 40" is not standard. If that is your standard show me pics. Also, that 22" bass was a nice fish around 6.5 lbs.
