Couldn't resist, price was too good for 600 gallon pond. I already know they are not the toughest. Right now I have the Nicarauguensis and Green Terrors that I got at ACA auction. They seem to be digging the room, just need sand and more plants/rocks.

Put some plastic or clay flower pots in there as caves they will love them will spawn and perhaps you will wind up with cichlid ponds like mine - Cichlids that just hide and you never see lol.

Your water is CRYSTAL clear mine is light green in the cichlid pond so imagine you will see them lots though find they hide lots .

well at feeding time I catch a glimpse .

your right they do love the room

They only just went in a few days ago. I figure as they grow bigger and get used to it they will be out more.

Where are you at in FLA?

Check out the lakes for plants, we've got a lot of desent stuff around here (just remember to clean & Quarantine them).

Thanks, I was trying to look up Social Welfare Services for you .

Someone else on here did this but his pump got clogged (I think) and stopped and everything died and the water was an uninteresting green .

It stopped the first day when one of the GTs committed suicide, diving head first into pump opening. If the abpve happens, what shade of green is interesting.
