I'm upgrading the lighting for my planted tank, these lights are better for smaller tanks that are 48" long like a 60g, the smaller light would be good for a 20g planted or salt tank.
48" light uses two 65w Compact Flourescent bulbs, and has two 6700k bulbs in it. It's perfect for having a planted 60g tank, just not enough to keep my 120g flourishing. Asking $120
24" light uses a single 65w Compact Flourescent bulb, and comes with a 50/50 bulb in it. Perfect for a 20g planted, or nano reef. Asking $40
