Hello all. I tried everything for my silver dat's eye troubles and nothing has worked.
There were small white worms in his tank, I think they were flukes so I got rid of them after months of work. The dat had cloudy eyes and his left eye just ballooned up over night and has blotches in it, like pockets of white within the eye. They looks like parasites or some infection within the lens of the eye. Currently it looks like the eye is going to tear off of the body, like a horrible case of popeye with some critters in the eyeball. The eye calmed down for a bit and now is back worse than ever after a cycle of Clout.
I have literally tried every treatment that I have found. Anyone have any thoughts as to what it may be? Or any more extreme or unusual remedies? I am willing to try anything since the fish is about to explode and I have already spent hundreds and hundreds on failed attempts to cure it.
