Need Info on Ciclasoma Urophthalmus.

Ive read that they can live in cold water, how cold?
Just as much info as you can get.:D
 
i dno wether they can live in cold water but they are very aggresive
here is my 10" male who lives alone =P

ok, its a beautiful male you've got there.
 
Wouldn't keep one under 65 F. That is too cold for the fish imo, but it can certainly be done.
 
I would keep it at standard tropical temperatures just to keep the fish at its best. They are underappreciated fish, decent color, personality, and size.
 
Awesome fish, treat it like a normal cichlid, they deserve warm water too.
They do have a nasty attitude though.
