Im just about done with the rock work on this baby.I just need a few more stones.I was going to pay for all these rocks but decided why do I have to pay for rocks?? When I can just gank them from the pond at the near by forest preserve.
I know,I know your thinking what a douche I am for doing such a thing.But let me tell you something.This pond was made from an old rock quary,so there is just tons upon tons of upon tons of rock out there for the taking.I normally go out there to fish with my step dad ocassionally.So I figured I'd go with him a couple of times to get a bucket at a time.But I was only planning on going out there twice and getting like not even half a bucket or so per trip,when something wonderful happened.I noticed my step dad had a little wagon that he would haul his fishing stuff out there with.I thought wow that will do just fine.So I pulled the wagon with a 5gal bucket around the pond to pick out specific rocks to my liking,preferably the smooth rounded biege ones.It turns out I had went out there 5 times and hauled about 5 full buckets of stones and rocks.I really wasn't planning on that many trips,but it looks like it was well worth it
