Well......There have been a lot of changes. Everyone should know that with change, things will be shaken up a bit...Today is new, fresh! And change is GOOD.



This thread, is for those of us, who are here every day (and everyone else too..lol).......Why? Why do you come here every day?



I come here because I enjoy having a good time (and most obviously read/learn). I can not count how many times I have literally laughed out loud, over a post I've read. There are never two days here, that are the same. I LOVE that aspect as well. MFK is always fresh. Life is rough, and the price of gas/living is out of the roof. I've found myself at home more and more(that, and, being older and having three kids). I then found MFK.....The rest is history. I think I belong here. I have expanded hobby-wise, a million fold since my arrival here at MFK. My biggest tank was a 55. I now have 700 gallons in my living room alone...:nilly::screwy:



Please share why you are here, and anything else upbeat you would like to say about your experience(s), posting in the forums.
 
i started fish keeping when i was 11 years old
i used to go to the park in front of my house along with a mug and a bottle and catch a few wild guppies and bring 'em home, nevertheless those guppies would die in a few days and i would be found again in the park with a mug and a bottle(had to hide and go there else my parents wouldn't allow me)
then they thought it would be better to get me a tank and a few fish to keep, to keep me away from the dangerously deep pond

after that for several years i kept fish without knowing that there were sites like these to actually help people like me to keep fish in better health and living conditions
when i joined here i had a 30g tank, and 2 900g ponds for koi and africans
the true oddballs i have come to cherish have been introduced to me by this wonderful site and the great members here

and here i also have met some great people with whom i can always chat about my fish and many other things

there isn't a day ever after i found this site that i haven't visited unless off course my internet connection is out of service due to payment overdues LOL

why would you want to do that
you can always send me the extra money, then you wouldn't buy anything new (or you can send me the new fish too) *a few of your chicla would be awesome*:ROFL::ROFL:
 
i come here allmost everytime im on the net...that is many times a day...
just to check out new topics,interesting discussions and ive learned soo much about fishes and fish keeping...
this is one of the four sites i open as soon as i get a chance to be on the net....at least for now..
 
It's like a train wreck. You can't stop looking.
I came here with over 1400 gallons, I don't need the encouragement :headshake but it's always nice to see what other people have.
 
ah, the joys of MFK :D

MFK is basically my second family, I joined when I was 13 (currently 16) and all I had was a 20 gallon tank which I got ashamed of a week later after joining, so it's more like I got my eyes duct taped open to just how much there is to fish.

Another thing is the support I've gotten with a whole lotta stuff, I suffer from several anxiety disorders and I opened up about it this thread and another time which is something that happens to me a lot and I also opened up about it as well this thread
whenever I feel down I just go back and read those 2 threads I sometimes cry while reading them, I never got that much support anywhere else some may think I'm exaggerating but I've been kicked out of other forums cause I'm Arab and that wasn't the best thing that ever happened to me and I've never been insulted on MFK

hats off to all the mods on here :headbang2
 
i come here because there is always something to do, an article to read, a fact to learn, a fish that you want more then anyhting but cant get yet, a noob to teach, a problem to solve, and all kind of fun stuff (like the time we gained up on the guy who took a photo of a tank in a public aquarium and claimed it was his, and of course all those fail pictures) ive made so many friends here that you guys are like a second family. that, is why i come here:D
 
This site is my sanity,,i love to read and look at pics..I spend more time on here then with my wife!! thats awesome
 
I to when I get to work I leave this site open all day long just in case I miss anything but also I am here to learn more about diff ypes of fish reptiles aquatic that is whats for sale and to see if there are any threads that I can help answering people on if its a problem I relate to and just to share this love passion and addictive sickness we all share when more than half of the world family and our friends who don't wouldn't understand its a place where we all fit in no matter our race color religion etc.. mfk till I die
