John Rambo the "match maker" does it again. My f1 Umbriferum breeding pair project is now comlete. After 14 months of growing out 0.5" F1 umbies, sexing them (that part was hard!), and pairing them, my pair has produced F2 fry. Not yet free swimming

My Carpintis Escondido from Rapps project, also a success. 16 months ago I bought five 1"ers and grew out a pair, which, by the way, no one believed I had a female. Along the way the male beat down the female so bad she floated for a few days. After nursing her back, they are back together like Tina and Ike, now with hundreds of fry.

Just though I would brag. I meant share.:grinyes:

If thats not good enough then I might have to add yet another breeding pair.
Also about 16 months ago I bought some half inch Cuban cichlids Rapps, grew them out, waited for a pair to form, and waited for them to breed. For 6 months they hung out together as if they were just friends. Finally, free swimming fry.

I will be. Hang tight, in a month or so when they are larger, I'll sell em for cheaper than most folks do.
 
Nice Kenneth....now all you need are some fishguy haitensis! Love the umbee pair, by the way...
