Without a doubt one of the easiest fish in my collection to photograph.
Here's the lighting set up I used for the pictures. Flash on the left TTL at full power...Flash on the right AA at -1.5 power...both triggered using Commander mode on the camera. ISO was 200, 1/250th at f22 - 29 (depending on the shot). The higher aperture gies me a more "blacked out" background...limiting the light to the area where the fish is photographed.
Most often while I am taking photos he swings between checking the overhead flash units to "glass banging" to get at me. I wanted to get a photo of the latter, but as you might imagine, timing is everything. Didn't get the lips on the glass...but did get this.
