V.Synspilum VS V.melanurus

Can anyone tell me what is the diff between this two fish (v.synspilum & v.melanurus) :)

any picture to compare both fish is welcome.. :drool:

the only thing i know is that both fish grows big hump.. :headbang2
 
I really like these im not sure of the differences but i have a 12" V.Synspilum for sale if anyone is interested he is stunning ill see if i can add some pics.

Any other pros here can show the diff between v.synspilum and v.melanurus?

is it melanurus have a full red on its body than the synspilum which is only have red color on head part..? :popcorn:.. anyone?
 
Paratheraps Synspilum has the most beautiful rainbow colours on fins and body. Melarunus, imo is a poor cousin in terms of colour, to the Synspilum. The rainbow colours on the Melarunus are not as distinct or crisp as the Synspilum.

its a little bit confius to me :confused:
seems like both are the same fish dont they??
 
The ones you posted all look like Syns to me. Did you check the link I gave you?You can see the melanurus has a blacker under body and tail fin.The coloration is more one color extending the length of the body where as Syns are more of a rainbow. :)

Thats what I was thinking. They look the same.
