My Dosmatic went dead on me after about a year... so i sent it out for service... and order a new machine.. Chemilizer

dosmatic is a piston driven injector.... chemilizer is a diaphragm driven injector.. and diaphragm inject will not wear out as quickly as piston driven injectors.. and replacement are cheaper too!

i got the chemilizer HN55 with fix ratio of 1:500

Good purchase li, I went thru three of the minidos and just got the chemilizer a few weeks ago it's much better. Did you purchase the replacment pump for it?

For your size, you may want to consider the other dosmatic injector versus the minidos. If I am running the minidos 1% on a 240 gallon tank, you definitely need bigger unit to make it work a little less harder to reducer wear.

The piston on the minidos aren;t expensive are they ? they're local to me and so far they have been very goid when I have any problem.


EWURM: That's not 5 gallon of prime, but more like diluted prime in RO water. My 5 gallon diluted prime (250ml to 5 gallon of RO water) lasted me 50 days on 2 gallon per hour drip.

minidos and Chemilizer have a max flow rate of 720 gallon per hour. I think the piston of the minidos wear down too quickly.

when i get my minidos back fro the service... i will use that to inject salt solution to few of my tanks.. :)

that's a helluvalot bigger.Looks better,thats for sure.Hopefully it works out for ya.
