Just snapped a couple overhead shots of my boy, can't do front shots because the haze on the acrylic causes it to look like pure crap. Thought I'd share, and since someone will ask. He is 10"-ish now, up from 3" about 7.5 weeks ago. Eats Shrimp, Krill, Fish, Pellets, Carnivore Delight, and anything else I drop in there.

Currently in a 6ft x 1.5ft tank with well over 200g total capacity including sump. I figure another couple months before he gets to big in there and needs a new home. I am still debating which route I am going to go but rest assured he'll be taken care of.

DAM! That is an awsome looking cat. Makes me want to go get one and a 300 gallon catfish tub :D

Also you have to watch out (last pic) your super de duper rare One-eye Wood Catfish is going to eat your RTC.

Thanks. :)

I was thinking of a 300g tub but even that wouldn't last much longer that the current home. I am so up in the air on what to get him, we'll see what kind of deals are out there come time.

Bump because I am noticing most peoples RTC have 6 whiskers but mine only has 4. Is this normal? There is no evidence there were ever two others and it's been the same since I got him. They are really long now, so I assume if more were going to grow out they would have by now.

Anyone know?

I try to keep him happy, my tank is the same dimensions as a standard 125g, I just happen to have a 200g sump also. He will outgrow it just as fast as yours will your tank, already shopping for a new home though.
