Hi folks, last January we had a great MFK meet in the Twin Cities (Bloomington) area and I, for one, would like to do another this January. Here's what I propose:
A MFK meet
Who: Open to all member's and their guests(family and friends).
When: A weekend in January 2009
Where: Somewhere in the vicinity of the Twin Cities, MN
Ewurm has graciously offered to donate store credit if we visit the store he works for. Last year he did the same, in the form of a raffle. The winner was very happy.
I will leave the exact details as to what locations to visit open for discussion. Last year we met at a local restaraunt then proceeded to the Mall of America to visit Underwater Adventures aquarium where we took a tour. Then we went to Ewurm's store to drool over fish, get some deals, and have the raffle.
A similar format would work well again I think, although I wouldn't mind seeing a new Aquarium or main attraction if anyone has a good suggestion.
Let's hear who's interested and if you have a suggestion for things to do, let me know if not, please at least let me know if you would be willing/able to attend.
Some carpooling is always an option so if you may need a ride you can bring that up as well and maybe someone else is in your area.
