you can tell alot from a person about which they prefere,
in my opinion not only are cats ugly, smelly and nasty creatures, but like teenagers they just leave and do whatever they want when they feel like it only returning for food and shelter. they are moochers there is no love with them.

dogs are loyal and have evolved to see their human owner as their alpha of the pack, a dog is dedicated to you for life and if someone broke into your house the dog would risk its life to stop the intrudor. lets see a cat do that!

that ofcourse is my opinion we are all different, just thought it would be interesting to see what you guys prefere, cats or dogs

I think that you needed at least two more opinions. Both or neither. Some, like myself own both and love most animals equally. Some don't like either but care very much for their other friends.
 
i like them both but if i had to choose...dogs over all .... they are your best friend... :D

I favoured dogs before I had a cat...
