Everything has been thriving, only been up for a about two months though. My skunk shrimp unfortunatly passed, but that is because he didnt survive the trip and resetup here :(.
I'm sure I will be getting more corals soon, and buying an RO unit, because as you can see algae is still:swear:

Also the buttons in the 2nd pic usually show more color, but have x4 in numbers since I got them.
And I know the condy shouldn't be in there, but it will go to a larger tank or my friends older more established one, if it starts to decline.
Also there is a mollie in there haha.

Thanks man, and go for it. I love SW, the colors and amount of life you can stuff in them, even in smaller setups is unparallel to fw imo. hell if I know if I'm doing it right though, I still need to get a better kit to measure other things, and I wouldn't mind modding it to increase the flow. I feel like a noob all over again, especially seeing how there are people with picos (way smaller than my tank even) which blow mine out of the water.

It's actually not that much if your doing live rock and fish, esp. in a smaller setup where you eliminate the need for a skimmer. The lights for corals and corals are the killer, but even that I'm just starting off small with cheap frags.

haha you agree? you have an L046 as your avatar, so what do you define as expensive? Thanks for the compliment though :)

Thanks, they were all half that size when I got them, if that. I know you said you were thinking about SW on another thread. Just do it liz, I don't know much about SW yet, but I will help you with what I can.

looks really nice.... ive always wanted to try saltwater....
So did I, and then I did haha. I love it, it is like starting all over again, learning everything, but in a good way. Figured this would be the year, as I can't really have large tanks because I am back on campus, so haha nano! If you decide to, let me know, and I'll help you with what I can.

that tank looks GOOD!
Thanks, coming from someone thats had a tank longer than me, I take that as a good sign that I haven't screwed anything up too bad yet.:nilly: I also have pulsating xenia in there (not captured in pics) and it was about to split, and then just completely reversed and is smaller, if it starts to 'melt' it will meet the trash.
