hey for xmas i got a turtle tank with two baby turtles, its a 50 gallon tank, it also houses 6 guppies for the turtles to eat =)

i was thinking of getting one of these...

eel
salamander
shrimp
snails
paroon shark =)

if u get any ideas thank you!

btw if u hav any other cool things for my turtle tank feel free to mention

Besides shrimp and snails scrap all the other things. The turtle will eat them, or they will harm the turtle if it is a hatchling.

What kind of turtle?

I'd keep a few feeder size crays or shrimp in there or some little native fish......yes he will eat them but it's fun to watch terrapins chase & eat prey...
I also had lots of nice plants & driftwood in for my little guy when he was with me.....looked funny, his little paddle feet swimming around thru the jungle........lol...

Yeah, Sliders are a species only kind of tank. My 55gal just has him in there, and some feeder guppies.

As far as decoration goes, sand or river rock for substrate and fake plants come to mind. Driftwood as well if you want.

Eventually aggression could occur as well, in which case they would need to be seperated.

Paroon sharks are not appropriate for 50g tanks. They grow too big for it. You can try feeders only as occupants but anything else will be attacked.

I think feeders would be attacked also.

Get white cloud and fatheads, in big shoals as feeders. You could raise your own or you could buy them I suppose. Guppies probably work. IDK if the feeders can pass on disease, they are both vertabrates but you never know.

Actually maybe not fatheads/WCMM. I like them and I dun want that to be their fate. Stick with guppies.

all the other suggestions will get picked at and eaten, and like anyone else will say, the parroon will get far too big for that, or most other tanks
