There's a guy on craigslist selling a lobster tank. Any ideas on what I can use it for besides lobster? Comes with a pump and chiller.

If it has a decent sized chiller it should be able to go down to 45* if you wanted too. I say raise some baby trout

You can also keep marines such as catalina gobies which need and will breed in cool waters -fire scallops and few other cool water marines sold.

Good suggestions. Any others? I may go look at it this weekend and see what kind of shape it's in and make sure everything is working.
If it is the sizes he posted it about 100 gallons. I've never really looked at a lobster tank like this before. Any idea what the deal is with the bottom that comes up? Looks like something that would be used for a sump.

since it IS a lobster tank...you could keep two lobbys and grow em huge ^_^ since there seems to be a separator there.
but really i would think it'd be good to keep anything that would fir into a normal tank that size, with the added bonus that you got a chiller so you can keep some coldies...
