I moved my breeding pair of Bristlenose to a 55 all to themselves (along with a buttload of fry) and when I took apart the mechanical filter from the 20 gallon they were in, I saw a baby pleco, alive! The filter is a HOT magnum and my plans were to add it to the new tank with a sponge over the inlet since there are other fry in this growout.
When I emptied the filter into a bucket to save the two I saw, out came 31 more!!
There were 34 total but 2 were dead (not in the pics attached, of course).
