i was wondering around the local fish shops one day and stumbled upon a tank full of silvers. in the mass of 20 silvers i see something strange.

it was a sliver but a very strange looking silver, white. i looked at its eyes and they are black so i merely thought it was the lighting. so a couple of minutes later i came back and sure enough it was white. then i thought to myself it is too good to be true. i mean, me, able to find a white silver? impossible i thought.

anyways i decided to bite the bullet and just buy it. so i called the storekeeper over and told him i wanted a silver.

i told him i wanted a specific one. then he handed me the net and said that i would have a better chance of getting the one i wanted. so i got up on the step ladder and to my amazement one of them(same one) had a golden back and was distincnt from the rest.

now i have it at home and sure enough it is still white. ill try and post pictures this weekend. so you can see if it is a snow silver.

i hope it is i bought it for 25.

can't wait to see pics

I hope it is your just teasing us now!! Pic's pic's!! good luck with your new aro!

i dont know about platinum, maybe you can call it that but mostly ive only heard about snow arowanas for very bluish white south american arowanas. platinums are usually named for asian gold x-backs who have platinum color on their scale rims or frames. if your fish is a silver, then most likely itll turn out to be a snow, not a platinum

Eagerly awaiting your photo... :D
