FX5 Died

I was feeding the fish and I noticed that the food wasn't getting blasted around like usual. So I checked the fx5 and it's not running.
Tried a few differnt plugs and no luck.
So now what do I do?
Should I unplug it and turn off the input/output?

I bought it used so I'm probally screwed if it needs a new motor.

I have only been running it 1 week. I took it all apart and cleaned it when I got it.
 
whered ya buy it? how much was it? Did the previous owner state the exact age of the filter?
 
weird
I just went and stood next to it to see if I could feel any water, thinking maybe it was still syphoning through there and all of a sudden it kicked back on.

What sucks is I dont know how long it was not running.

WTF! ???

so now its blasting debris out into my tank.

looks bad.
I don't know what to do, so I put a couple capfulls of prime in the tank incase theres an ammonia spike. its on a 75 gal.
 
I also have 2 ac110's and a emperor 400 running so hopefully it will help if my waters now toxic?

I need to leave the house soon, no time for a water change.

It's been running a 6 days.
its filled with 5 liters of eheim pro substrate, no center pads
 
2 minute clean up cycle?????

The FX 5 does that daily to purge air.
 
Got me man, I have a new one and am hoping for an efficient runner.
