I'll tell you why. They have customer service rivaled by no one!
So here is my story:
I bought a total of 3 tanks from Tenecor, a 300g, 600g, and a 750g all ready to run with wet dry filters. The reason I went with them instead of any other manufacturer was there reputation for high quality products and service.
Well from day one I have had problems with the built in overflow in the 750. The bottom portion of the overflow delaminated from the bottom of the tank. What this did is in a power outage or when unplugging the pumps for a water change the water would not stop flowing into the overflow and would fill the sump enough to overflow out onto the ground if I wasn't keeping an eye on it. I did seal it myself with that epoxy stick and have not had a problem...Until last week!
So last week I notice the water level in the tank is lower than normal. I then notice that the overflow that was giving me problems had caved in and cracked on the bend on the left hand side!
I called Brian Harnish in sales and told him what had happened and he got with Tony an engineer. they asked me to take some pics of the damage and of my stand (since it was homemade). I took a bunch of pics for them all the while thinking that they were going to fight me about the problem and maybe blame my stand or something else.
Boy was I WRONG... They are going to build me a brand new tank with 1/2" thick overflows and brace them so I don't have the same problem!!
I am just blown away with there decision!!
So if you are in the market for a new tank, give Brian a call and rest assured your hard earned money will be well spent!!!
