Guttalatum - At what size did yours color up?

Ah ok. Mine is only 6 inches or so and not much color at all. I got rid of a few fish, but decided to keep him to see how he colors up when he is older.
 
Hmmm... Mine is only about 3" and has some pretty good coloring going on. I know the mood of these guys will make a difference with the color too.

Mine has some descent color, but nothing like some of these others that I see on here.
 
I know what you mean... Just remember some of the pix on here are from professional photographers. Extreme quality cameras or even photo shop.

Be sure you feed you're guy a high quality diet and water changes for the colors to pop!
 
Usually at around 4". Here are a couple of pics of my pair. You can see in the last pic the male has lost alot of the blue and looks a little washed out. They had just laid eggs and they get that strong contrasting pattern when they do!

Mine don't look anywhere near as good as those and mine is around 6".
