OMG MY ZZMALAU AND GOLDEN PLATNIUM BREED!!!

I was doing water change in my big 150gallon tank, about 25%.... and after i was done.. about 10min later both my Golden Platnium and ZZMalau were moving gravel together!

At first i was like oh cool they are moving gravel.. and then about another hour later they moved to another spot with about 4 big round river bed stones (random area)

anyways.. i was wondering why they were so aggressive towards the other Flowerhorn and the pleco and my Oscar and even tried to chase off my arowana....

I found out why... THEY BREED !!!!

Theres a lot of eggs..and i never expected this.. cuz these fish are no older than 7 months old... Both fish were from babychris' ZZmalau and Golden...

I always thought my ZZ malau was a male cuz she's HUGE at 4.5" and my Golden is about 3.5" (the eggs are TAN color) not white.. but we'll see if they do hatch..

how warm should i keep the water? right now its 82 in the tank..

Its my first time!!.. never had two fish who actually breed together.....

ya.. i figured as much so i removed it and put all the eggs in a 10 gallon..

I'll see if they are fertilized.. some look very tan.. others are clearly white..

Ya..i actually have some better pictures of him.. He looks like an SRT.. or could be mistaken for one.. but is a FH.. very faded color.. orange, sometimes very pale pink...
