Well, as some of you may know, I'm getting out of the hobby for a bit. Most of my fish are sold and gone and all of my
tanks (300 240 210 150) are pretty much spoken for, minus my reef tank. All I have left to sell are 9 small Flowerhorns and my SRT, oh and my widebar...
I'm going to keep my 20 Snook/Trimacs in this pond and grow them out a bit before I say goodbye to them though.
Cost of the build;
150g Pond - free (Thanks Pat)
pvc - $5
bulkhead- leftover from a free tank
Tub - $5
Bio - leftover from previous tanks
Pump - from closet
Krylon - $5
pegboard- scrap from garage
zip ties - from junk drawer
gutter gaurd - whole roll costs $4 (I always have some just in case)
Total $15
Here's the tub I picked up at Wallmart for $4 and change.

Drilled a hole in it and threw on a bulkhead I pulled off of one of my
previous tank projects.

Grabbed some left over light defuser and pvc from the garage.

threw that in there.

Some pot scrubbies

about 5 gallons of balls

And how about this for ghetto?
DIY Table saw. lol

action shot!

man I'm good..

spray bars

spray bars again..

The pumps going in the pond. So I used some Gutter Gaurd
to make sure nobody gets put in a bad spot..

Ran out to WallyMart at 11:30pm and grabbed some Krylon.
Came back and painted it outside at Midnight with a flashlight...

Well there she is. Cheap and easy. Just how I like it.
Let me know what you think.
