Got these guys a few days back ive had the light off mostly because of the heat up here. Funny thing is the delhezi is not all that social but the Ornate is now grabbing silver sides out of my hand at the surface. :) I love them both they are feeding well and seem to have adjusted quite well too.

Sorry point and shoot pictures... sony cybershot. Ill get some good ones soon when I can leave the light on. Its been 100+ degrees here for a week.

Thanks guys! All I have gotten them to eat has been silver sides. The senegal ive had for months now . They wont take krill but love the silversides and the store claims to have fed them blood worms so I think I can switch them easily to a nice small worm diet and silversides. I doubt they will eat massivore until later in life.

Mine ate massivore right away. I just broke down and bought it a few days ago. Try market shrimp and tilapia too. My endli's come outta nowhere when the massivore and shrimp hit the water.

they look great already bro! I gotta say, I really dig your tank setup too, those red lava rocks and the plants, I like all the color.

quick bit of advice, if you plan to feed massivore, better to start now. Yeah it's a pita to break it up, but guarantees best growth and condition in your fish.

Be careful when feeding it though, feed very little at first (as in one pellet broken up) because any uneaten massivore makes your tank smell like poo in minutes!

Thanks co hazard ill do that. The stuffs expensive but im taking my bernese mountain dog to puppy classes tonight ill pick some up.

It doens't have to be massivore though, I used hikari cichlid gold sinking, and my bichirs did well on it. Even on the floating, but it kinda turned my endli pink lol
