Greetings all,

I currently have a small brood of P. clarkii crayfish for sale (approx. 10-15 individuals).

These are the Orange variant of Red Swamp crayfish. However, please note that these are NOT full blooded orange variants. The father is the offspring of a Orange/White pairing and the mother is the offspring of a Orange/Orange pairing. Which means the offspring can possess the gene to create the White variant in their offspring.

That aside, the individuals for sale are currently between .25 - 1" (varying on the individual), the larger ones are able to be sexed at this time and all are active, eating well and growing quickly.

Shipping and local pick up are available for these crayfish.
For local pick up, I'm located in Essex County, NJ (PM for specifics).
And for shipping (continental USA only, sorry), I use USPS and offer shipping quotes for Priority and Express. Express comes with live arrival guaranteed, however, I've never had an issue with Priority. But it's buyer's choice.
That aside, all packages are shipped with either tracking (Express) or delivery confirmation (Priority), which I provide upon returning from the post office. All packages are shipped with either heat and/or ice packs, weather depending. And all crayfish are shipped in Kordon Breather Bags.

Pricing for the crayfish are as follows:

Crayfish already displaying bright orange coloring - $8/ea
Crayfish displaying medium to muted orange (the "orange cream" coloring) coloring - $6/ea

If you have any questions about this species, it's requirements, whether it can go in your current tank, etc. Or about anything else. Feel free to ask, thanks for stopping by! :D

Edit: I also will not be shipping until after the 1st, as I have a vacation scheduled from the 25th-31st. I will take orders and put a hold on crayfish during that week, I just won't be able to get to the post office until the 1st at the earliest.

Curious about their care. Max size? Minimum Tank size? Temperature range? Temperment within other species of inverts? Just curious don't know if i have the room anyway heh

Hey hey,

Max size: About 8", with 5-6" being more common.

Minimum tank size: Recommended is one crayfish per 10gal, however, until they reach a larger size, you could keep individuals in smaller tanks with no detrimental effects.

Temperature range: Recommended is 55 - 78F, however, given their spread in the North, Central and South America... a bit lower/higher is tolerable by this species.

Temperament with other species (in general, not just inverts): While this species is less aggressive, it still readily hunts for food. Groups of this crayfish can be kept successfully in appropriately sized tanks, and with other fish or inverts. However, it is likely that eventually you will see someone(s) disappear and end up as a snack.
