Hi urmmm I just started a new tank with a red tail catfish, endli and black ghost knife fish (actually i have 2 tanks, the older one is smaller and the newer one is bigger). The endli and catfish are quite small but i put them in the big tank with some other random fishes and i put the black ghost with another redtail catfish(a bit bigger) into the smaller tank...

So anyway, the small redtail catfish started looking bad, so i moved it to the small tank but do u think it'll get injured with another catfish and black ghost which are bigger?

Btw, is it normal for the black ghost to like stop moving and lie on the ground for a while?

what size are the tanks

Mentioning that you have 2 RTCs is going to invite many more questions like this one. If you could give the tank dimensions and the approximate fish size, that would be helpful. "Quite small" is rather vague and relative.

BGKs will stop swimming for a bit at the bottom of the tank.(Mine does that every now and again) Very strange swimming fish, one of the reasons why you gotta love em.:headbang2

 take all those fish back to the shop, that tank is almost big enough to hold food for their adult counterparts... for 1 feeding

ok urmm i measured painstakingly that it was 25cm tall, 20 cm breadth and 35cm long
It's barely 5 gallons. How big exactly are all those fish?

ok.... but i've got another another tank, actually not really tank more of a huge thing I'm too lazy to measure its about 1m wide 2m long and 1m tall? Is that good enough for their adult thing? or do i need something bigger?

btw... im not sure if i can fit them in there now coz they might get stuck in the filter and when they are big can they share the tank with 3 giant gouramis inside it already?
