orbignyi OR humerosa? or something else?

He is around 6" he has only grown 1" in 9 months. Very very slow growth rate despite the amount of food he can eat. he is real cool ray.

acording to the aqualog, Humerosa does not grow very large.

red flower caqueta isn't that a retic?

i have always called him "spiderweb" as that is what his pattern looks like.

My LFS tried to sell me one of those and called it a hystrix. It obviously isn't.

Hybrid perhaps?

I would call it a humerosa. Not much info out there to distinquish the orbignyi, dumerilli, and humerosa. Really only have the aqualog to go off of. Everything I have seen that is called a dumerilli has the half tiger stripes on the lower part of the tail and orbs have the eyebrows. So call it a humerosa. Either way it is nice looking ray.

he has very tall set eyes. He has a strong tail with some spikes, that come up on part of his body. With the growth rate i would say some sort of retic, but i really doubt it.

oh and he was also labeled at hystrix, but clearly not a hystrix...
