just wondering what is the most agressive piraha in you expreeince

it really depends on the individual fish, but i do have to say that in my experience, i have very rarely seen a shy maculatus

cool

i think that elongs have the potential to be some wild fish, but they are REALLY hit or miss IMO... i have seen plenty that attack the glass harder than i've ever seen any other fish do at the mere sight of someone walking into a room, but i have also seen a lot that spent all of their time hiding in the back corner of a tank and refused to eat in front of people for the entire time that they had them.

yea if i get another p i just want it to attack the glass

maybe even not a p any other fish that are pretty much gonna attack the glass ? but i would rather have a p than anything else

well if you are wanting all-out aggressiveness, piranhas in general are gonna disappoint... most people get into the hobby because they want some blood-thirsty aggressive fish, but end up realizing that they aren't as vicious as they are made out to be. i would give piranhas a shot tho, if you end up with an aggressive fish after a few months, you lucked out, but if not, you may end up liking them anyways.

most of the larger serrasalmus piranhas have the potential to be glassbangers i have never personaly seen a maculatus but its worth a shot

a big rhom (16+ ") is another option they geenraly dont dissapoint

i aggree with joes post above this one

yea joe im going with the mac but i realy would like a elong or manullie

but whats the tank size need for them ?

elongs are cool, but they really need a bigger tank to thrive, at least in my experience.... mannies are awesome fish, definitely one of my favorites, but they are extremely sensitive fish, so i definitely wouldn't recommend one until you have a much larger tank. i would say at least a 75 for an elong for life and at least a 75 for a smaller mannie, an upgrade would be necessary down the road tho.

how come so many people say a 29 is good ? even on piranha-fury.com
