My Tank Setup

Any suggestions? 55g

I'm getting a 55 gallon and I was wondering what to put in it. I really want to get some larger fish, maybe cichlids? Before, I haven't had the space/money for tanks more than 30 gallons. I really want a few big fish. I've always liked convicts, so maybe some of those? But i want to have more then one species. it doesn't have to be cichlids, I'm open to and interested in anything. suggestions please?

If you have the money get a bigger tank. There are not many large fish that will fit in a 55.
A single convict with a blue acara may work out. Then you could have one or 2 of the smaller plecos.
Angel fish would be good in a 55.You could have 5 or 6.

a single convict in a 55 lol

you can keep 2 convicts in one of those cups you get the bettas in and they would still breed like mad

a pair of green terror or fire mouths (ALONE!)... that would be pushing the limit IMO but..doable..

some small bichirs or gulper catfish, or a community tank would also be a good idea..

DONT get anything bigger unless u plan to upgrade..
