This is my 135G tank that my datnoid will go into, but before the tank can be setup, how do you level it????

I know you can use wood shim for wooden stand, but this is a metal stand, it have 4 legs, so wood shim wouldn't work at all!

The tank is left side higher than right side by 1/2 of an inch
(the floor is slanted)

Suggestion?

thanks

Why couldn't you use a wood shim? I have shimmed metal stands with wooden shims many times.

It will crush right thru it..

Never seen that happen. Wood is pretty strong.

If you are dead set against wood shims, go to any industrial supply store and ask for motor shims, they are degreed to the thousandth of an inch and are made of steel. If you are out a half an inch, just go to the hardware store and buy a stick of 1/4" thick steel flat bar and cut / stack to suit.

Idk what you'd use to shim this thing ... but I'm glad you found my post helpful! One word of advice ... I really think all the crud would have came off without the razor. The scrubbies rocked & I think I could have skipped the scraping step totally. It would be worth a shot just to use the blue scrubbies (they aren't suppose to scratch glass) and some hot water on a little spot. =)
