Joe is a great guy. but i think he needs better quality assurance. my first order, the box was busted, and only two fish were alive, the rest were dead. Joe gave me credit for them. i ordered again. the few orders i put in, it's either the wrong fish were sent to me or too many dead fish arriving. i ordered synodontis decorus, but was sent synodontis nigriventis. i ordered the "flower perch" coreoperca whiteheadi, and was sent baramundis. i was given a discount on the next order. i ordered asian knifefish and was sent african knifefish. also, i spoke ot Joe and told him that 4 of the hybrid redtail catfish out of the five i ordered are all dead, but Joe said all his fish are still alive. Joe is a great pleasant guy, but i am turned off by the non chalant customer service. Just too many dead fish in the orders. Not very good experience. I kept quiet because Joe is a great guy, we usually tried to discuss this over the phone. but this is my testimonial. Everyone must realize, Joe is a businessman and has other priorities he needs taken care of. as a customer, it is hard for me to just keep receiving fish that die in three to five days. i guess it is a part of fish business online. my LFS would definitely give me some type of credit or discount on the next purchase. Also most of the fish that Joe have are straight from importers, so they have not been fully acclimated. so it is a tough business. i am sure there are luckier customers than me.
