would i be able to feed my 18" basalisk superworms or are they to big i was hopeing to only have to put one worm in the dish instead of four smaller giant superworms and do adult basilisks eat small fish in the wild?

I'm not trying to sound like a jerk but did you do any research before you bought this guy?

Yes you can feed superworms. I would give him more than one though lol. With him being younf still he should be eating all the time. Try using a veriety of insects; super worms, crickets, roaches, silk worms, wax worms and so on. You could prob give him pinkies every so often as well.

And yes they prob do eat fish. Just don't feed feeder fish. They are garbage.

my basilisk is no longer takeing interest in the giant mealworms but goes after large crickets and the mealworms dont move around much in the bowl is this the case or is it becuase she needs bigger food like superworms she is inbetween 17-18" long from nose to tip of tail

then feed crickets. they are a better food source anyways. just dont forget to gutload.

you could also breed roaches. thats what alot of us do

I agree with mike D, ur best bet is to breed roaches they great for them too. feed like 20 supers at a time. my leo eats like 7 at a time and hes like 1/2 his size

yea i would sday you can feed it supers i feed all my reptiles with legs superworms my BD my turtles my baby snapping turtle eats them

I got the chance to do a small research project on basilisks in Honduras a few years ago and learned a lot about potential husbandry methods. Of particular interest was just how gregarious these guys are, if I were you, I would strive for a very diverse diet and do not be afraid to try new prey items if they come from a trusted source. Along with helping maintain them nutritionally the variety adds enrichment to their days.
