I got back from my trip, and what do you know, 2 of my chinese hi fins died They probably died of heat. They were in a small tank. Should have put them in my main tank.
if it makes you feel better, i wake up this morning and my 12-14 inch mbu is laying upside down, lifeless....and i wasn't even on vacation....major depression.....i had to take double the dose of my medication...tough luck. first the albino lungfish, then an NGT, then a marble motoro, and now a 12-14 mbu...to top it off, out of the five chinese perch I've had for about 6 months now, only one survive...lots of dead fish...not too happy
My condolences to the two of yous for your recent losses.
If and when possible, it is best to have someone look after your fish and aquariums while you are away. Although this is often times impossible, it is the best thing to do for your fish.
